People may always want to live somewhere else. Or, at least, to experience the joys of living elsewhere. I often feel grateful to be given the opportunity from work to explore a land or a city I've never explored before, and enjoy the scenery there.
In June, we were able to spend a few days in Venice by attending an exhibition project in a church. In September, another trip was made to Palermo, Sicily. Now in November, we are leaving soon for the border ports, Trieste.
What is the wind like in that city, what does it sound like in the morning, the markets there, the buildings there, the scenery there.
Different cities in Italy, with different cultures influence from history, have very different colors and flavors. The sights seen are also very different, and they sound different.
Maybe, I want to capture these subtle differences and infuse them into the soul of the work someday.
